Meditation reduces stress, improves concentration, increases self awareness, benefits the cardiovascular and immune systems and many believe slows the aging process.
Studies have proven that any type of meditation, whether you are the guru on the mountain or just following a guided meditation from this page, is beneficial. Many people are intimidated by the thought of meditating and not sure how to begin. These guided meditations are simple and relaxing and can assist you in reaching a place of inner peace. They are a great addition to an ongoing practice or introduction for those just beginning.
The meditations offered here are guided meditations with times of silence incorporated, giving you time and space to explore and follow your own journey. They are limited in duration to allow you to complete a full meditation when time may be limited or to pause the recording if you desire a longer meditation.
My meditations do not include background music as some find that distracting.
Grounding is a way of anchoring yourself energetically and being more present in this human manifestation. We all know people that are “out of their bodies.” These people tend to have difficulty concentrating, listening, and being on-time or present in the moment. You could say that they are ungrounded.
One must be well-grounded in order to fully open to spirit and utilize that connection here on this physical plane.
The more you are able to tap into the feeling of being fully-grounded with the practice of these guided meditations, the easier it will become to return to that place whenever needed or desired. This is a tool that has helped me control anxiety and find a place of inner peace and clarity in situations that would have thrown me in the past.
A grounding meditation is a great place to start and equally important to an ongoing practice. This is something that I do continually throughout my day.
People ground in unique ways. A popular grounding visualization is that of a tree rooting deep into the planet. Some people ground easier utilizing water and some that are less visual do best running a flow of vibrational energy and light.
I am offering three different grounding meditations to enable you to find the one that suits you the best and will be the easiest for you to tap into.
Once you have mastered the ability to Ground, you will then move to “Centering”.
You have anchored yourself energetically to our beautiful planet by fully grounding and are now ready to access spirit in order to receive wisdom, healing, support and soul connection. This is stability from another source. When Centering, we connect with our true essence and higher self, inviting that energy into our being and running it through our Chakra system to clear anything that is not serving us, and to initiate healing and bask in a pure source of unconditional love.
We interact with one another and our surroundings energetically as well as physically, and sometimes we hold on to energy that does not belong to us or serve our higher good.
It is important to clear your energetic space and sustain a higher vibration, allowing you to feel good physically, mentally and spiritually. This is extremely important for Empaths; people that are sensitive to energy and tend to take on emotions or sometimes the physical sensations of others. Clearing purifies your auric field and energetic space.
